There are a few ways my husband and I refer to my 10 month old daughter's blanket--the miracle, the magic blanket, and Mr. Sandman. We had received numerous hand-made blankets as gifts when Ava was born and loved to snuggle her in the different soft materials. However, one day I grabbed the Comfort Silkie Security Blanket as we were heading out and I haven't gone back to any of the other blankets. My husband and I were totally amazed at how Ava seemed to melt into her silkie and it comforted her in a way that nothing else could. One day, I washed her silkie and forgot to throw it in the dryer before her nap. I put a different soft blanket that was similar in size and texture in her crib (the dr. approved the blanket in her crib:0) to help get her to sleep, and I could hear my daughter through the monitors playing and moving around. After awhile the blanket was dry and I went into her room and switched out the fau--silkie for the real one and she instantly rolled to her side, hugged the blanket and fell asleep in less than a minute. I was in total disbelief. She truly loves this blanket and puts herself to sleep at night by passing the silky side of the blanket from hand to hand and rubbing it against her cheek--it's such a sweet sight to see. Kayleigh loves her pillows and security blankets!

Our daughter Abby has been attached to her ‘Silkie” since birth. It goes everywhere. We have two in case one gets lost or dirty there is a backup (so does our son). This is a picture of her and Silkie at Hilton Head. It is one of our favorite pictures and her first trip to the beach. We call it “Hello Beach”

Here is 4 month old Zane... blissfully happy with his most favorite possession - his silkie!

"My daughter loves her silkie pillows and blankies. She has about 5 pillows and three blankies. She leaves them in different places around the house (her crib, the couch, the toybox) so she never has to look to hard to find them. Looks like another member of our family enjoys the silkies almost as much as she does!" - Ana
