Valentine's Day Craft, Game & Sweets

Lollipop Flowers:
There is something irresistibly simple and lovely about this card, and your sweetheart is sure to be a sucker for the candy treat it hides.

CRAFT MATERIALS:
Red and green co
nstruction paper or card stock
Scissors

Lollipop
Glue stick

1. From red construction paper, cut out a heart that's just larger tha
n the lollipop candy and glue it to the wrapper.
2. For the leaves, fold the green paper in half and cut out a leaf shape, leaving the two sides attached at the seam.
3. Unfold the double leaf shape, coat the entire inside surface with glue
, and fold it back over the lollipop stem, pressing to secure.
Time needed: Under 1 Hour. Tips: If you use cardboard templates, one child can trace and cut hearts while another works on the leaves.

Steal My Heart Game:
Put your Valentine's Day sweets to a playful new use with this simple game.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Bowl of candy hearts
Chopsticks

HOW TO PLAY:
1. To set up, place a bowl of candy hearts on a flat surface within easy reach of the players and hand each person a pair of chopsticks.
2. Set a timer for about 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the ages of your players.
3. At "Go," contestants start removing hearts fr
om the bowl using only their chopsticks, placing the candies in front of them. When time is up, the player with the most hearts wins.

Love at first bite. Earn brownie points with this Valentine's -- or any other day.

Make your favorite brownie recipe and after the brownies are baked:
Use a cookie cutter or a butter knife to cut out small heart shapes.

Make it even sweeter by adding ice cream, fruit or chocolate syrup.
